Since its inception in 1989, the Architectural Foundation's highly successful Kids Draw Architecture program has provided an opportunity for children to sketch Santa Barbara's famous landmark buildings. Architects and design professionals offer encouragement and creative guidance to these young artists during outdoor drawing sessions which take place annually in the late spring.

A representative sampling of the children's artwork is later displayed at gallery exhibits and in the Kids Draw Architecture calendar.
